Contact EPA Regarding the 9th Circuit Court Ruling TODAY!

Last Wednesday, June 3, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit vacated the Environmental Protection Agency’s conditional registrations for three dicamba-based herbicides: XtendiMax, Engenia, and FeXapan. As you know, Georgia's cotton and soybean growing season is well underway, and many farmers have already planted dicamba tolerant crops and now need to make weed control applications.

The ruling by the 9th Circuit Court has put many of the state's farmers in jeopardy and potentially unable to produce a crop this year. We encourage you to take action today and ask the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to issue an “Existing Stocks Rule,” or quickly take other administrative actions to allow farmers to use products currently possessed and/or those currently in the supply chain for the 2020 growing season.

Please use the link below to contact the EPA as well as your federal lawmakers regarding this important issue. As always, feel free to contact the Public Policy Department should you have any questions regarding the 9th Circuit Court ruling.
