Georgia Forestry Commission rangers train hard to fight fires and protect property

The Georgia Forestry Commission’s wildland firefighters are trained in the techniques of fire suppression while working in mostly rugged rural areas. The Farm Monitor was invited to observe some of that training and speak to the men doing this very dangerous job.
