Posted on March 5, 2025 10:58 PM

The week of March 17th is Ag Week in Georgia, when we celebrate the incredible contributions of Georgia’s agriculture industry. It’s where we all come together to honor our state’s number one industry, agriculture. It’s a statewide effort, with participants from our Ag in the Classroom program, educators, community groups, nonprofits and the Georgia Department of Agriculture.

Ag in the Classroom

Georgia Farm Bureau’s Ag in the Classroom program is excited increase agricultural literacy by providing a Ag Week toolkit. These tools will help educators teach their students the importance of agriculture and its role in an interdependent society. The resources include lessons, activities, virtual farm tours and more.
