Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is your opportunity to donate to charitable organizations that matter most to you. On Tuesday, December 3, please consider supporting agriculture education in Georgia! 

Agriculture is Georgia's largest industrial sector, yet many kids have no knowledge of how their food and fiber is cultivated right here in their own state.

The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture is raising money to benefit the elementary agriculture education pilot programs established by Senate Bill 330. The "Georgia Agricultural Education Act", passed in 2018, made history by establishing the first elementary school agriculture programs in the nation.

While the bill established the programs, the schools in the pilot are now in need of funding to get them off the ground and build ag programs that students will enjoy.  Help teachers make the pilots a success, and help us promote the adoption of these programs across the entire state!

My challenge for you is to donate a minimum of $5 on Giving Tuesday then send this email to 5 of your family and friends encouraging to do the same! Post a #UNselfie to social media tagging @GeorgiaFarmBureau and @GAgives to spread the word!
