Teacher of the Year

We are now accepting applications for the 2022 Georgia Ag in the Classroom

Agriculture is an important part of life for all. Clothing, food, fuel, housing, medicine, and more are rooted in agriculture. Agricultural concepts can support the teaching of many academic disciplines as well as programs such as STEM, STEAM, and STREAM.

The deadline for submitting applications is May 6, 2022.

The winner of this award will receive a trip to the 2023 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference.

All certified teachers currently integrating agriculture into non-vocational agriculture classrooms at the pre-K through 12th grade level are eligible to apply.
