Public Relations Internship
The Info/PR Department helps fulfill Georgia Farm Bureau’s mission of serving as the Voice of Georgia Farmers by leveraging a wide variety of media and providing communications support for all departments at Home Office as well as 150+ local offices. This department also helps oversee the branding and advertising strategy for the Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, including assisting more than 300 insurance agents across the state.
This internship will offer hands-on experience with projects in advertising, design, and mass communication, supporting GFB’s flagship media programs like the Farm Monitor TV show and the Georgia Neighbors and Georgia Farm Bureau News magazine. The intern will commit to at least 150 hours during Fall 2025, working approximately 10 hours per week over 15 weeks. Responsibilities include content creation for social media, assisting with branding projects, gathering information and providing reports, and attending meetings with company leaders. The intern will also assist with the Georgia Farm Bureau booth at the Georgia National Fair in Perry in October and may be asked to assist with the GFB Company Store at Annual Convention in Jekyll in December.
Ideal candidates should have or be eager to develop skills in corporate design, brand advocacy, problem-solving, and professional relationship-building.
