Episode 24: From Jekyll to Atlanta & Everywhere in Between

In this episode of the Growing On Podcast, we are talking about our annual GFB Convention held on Jekyll Island each year and the annual AFBF Convention that was held this year in Atlanta. 

Prior to both of those conventions, our Public Policy team works with our farmers and commodity committees to develop new, or make changes to our policy for our policy book, which is the guide for our organization. We take a in-depth look at that process known as policy development with Advocacy and Policy Development Coordinator, Katie Duvall.

Also in this episode, we introduce you to our Young Farmer and Rancher competitors that represented Georgia Farm Bureau in Atlanta competing in the Excellence for Agriculture, Achievement Award, and Discussion Meet competitions.
