STEAK ON A STICK

 

 

1-2 pounds of either flat iron, flank or London broil

Wooden skewers

 

 

Marinade

 

1/2 cup Coca-Cola

1/2 cup Italian salad dressing

1/2 cup vegetable oil

Juice of 1 lemon

1/2 cup soy sauce, (low-sodium works best)

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

 

 

 

Combine all marinade ingredients in non-reactive container or large food storage bag.


Thinly slice meat into strips approximately two-inches long. Place meat in marinade and let sit in refrigerator for at least eight hours, or overnight.

 

Soak wooden skewers to prevent burning. Thread beef onto skewers and grill to desired doneness.


 

This is a good basic marinade for any cut of beef, whether on skewers or cooked whole.
