PARTY SLIDERS

 

 

1 pkg. party dinner rolls, in aluminum pan, 25 count

1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Sliced American cheese

Sliced pickles

 

 

Preheat oven to 350º.

 

Slice rolls in half horizontally, creating one top layer and one bottom layer. Carefully lift top layer off and set aside.


Combine beef, onion & spices, and spread in a thin layer on a baking sheet with sides.  Bake about 20 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain off excess fat. 

 

Place beef on bottom layer of sliced rolls, cutting to fit. Place cheese and pickles on top of beef, then carefully place top layer of rolls over cheese and pickles. 

 

Cover with foil and return to oven for 10 minutes to melt cheese.  Cut into individual rolls using a pizza cutter.

 

Makes 25 small cheeseburgers
