GFB taking applications for AITC Teacher of the Year Award

Do you know a teacher, K-12, who is doing a great job integrating agriculture into their lessons? If you do, encourage them to apply

for the Georgia Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom Teacher of the Year Award!

Certified teachers currently engaged in integrating agricultural concepts into non-vocational classroom settings are eligible. Ag concepts can support teaching in a variety of academic disciplines, including STEM, STEAM and STREAM.

Applications are due Aug. 9 and the winner will win $500 and a trip to the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, June 23-26, 2020!

The winning teacher will be invited to accept the award at the Georgia Farm Bureau Convention on Jekyll Island, Dec. 7-8. The winner will also be asked to present a workshop at the 2020 GFB Educational Leadership Conference.
