Georgia blueberry farmers who grow and commercially market 2,000 pounds or more in a single season are eligible to vote on whether to continue the Georgia Agricultural Commodity Commission for Blueberries in a referendum to be held March 1-30.

Blueberry growers pay $5 per ton of marketed blueberries to fund research, education and promotion programs that advance the blueberry sector.  Eligible growers who have not received a ballot via mail by March 7 should contact the Georgia Department of Agriculture (GDA) at 404-586-1405.
