Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance

The Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance Companies includes the Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company and the Georgia Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company. Both are dedicated to serving the members of Farm Bureau in Georgia.

Founded in 1959, the Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company is celebrating its 50th year of service to our members. The company was started at a time in our history when farmers and rural Georgians were having a difficult time finding insurance coverage. The Georgia Farm Bureau Federation members decided to act and pooled their money to create a company which is now the state's largest domestic property-casualty insurance company.

The company now employs over 550 insurance agents and claims representatives located throughout the state to serve our members' needs. Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company is a preferred risk writer of farm, home, auto and light commercial insurance offering competitive rates in these lines of business. Georgia Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company is a standard risk writer of farm, home, auto, and light commercial insurance. In the event coverage cannot be written through Farm Bureau, coverage may be written through our Brokerage Department where alternate insurance markets exist. Farm Bureau Brokerage Department acts as an in house agency that has contractual relationships with other insurance carriers and brokers. These companies offer competitive rates and comprehensive coverage. Contact your local Farm Bureau agent for more information.

It's All About Service

The main goal of the Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company is to provide the highest level of service possible to our membership. We strive to maintain a professional agency force that’s charged with the responsibility of giving superior service and good, sound insurance advice.

In addition to providing service and giving advice, agents are available to the membership in times of crisis. They are there to give the assurance that a house destroyed by fire can be rebuilt; that a damaged car can be repaired; that a breadwinner’s salary can be replaced.

At Georgia Farm Bureau, we're making things more convenient for you. You can now report a claim when your local Farm Bureau office is closed. Our After-Hours Claims Hotline is available at (866) 842-3276 anytime your local office is closed. For more on our Claims serrvice, visit the Claims Page.

If you have a question about a loss or your policy, you may want to visit our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Page.

At Farm Bureau, we recognize the personal nature of insurance and offer personal service with an office located in every county of the state.

Farm Bureau members can be assured of competitive rates, fast, fair claims service, personal attention and total account service. To see if you qualify and to check out the rates, stop by your Farm Bureau office. There is an office serving each of Georgia's 159 counties.
